Vaginal itchiness, white clumpy discharge, slight smell- yeast infection?

I have had vaginal itchiness (extreme at times and then feels painful), white clumpy discharge with a tinge of a smell. I took diflucan a month ago but didn’t really help. Anyone know what this could be?
